I got this link from :iconmegane-kun:. It's about an article published in People Asia magazine, written by some Malu Fernandez. I think she has a regular column there? Anyway, I don't care if she's established or whatever, but, I can't really see why she gets published, at all. I mean, I read one of her articles, particularly the one that I'll be linking in this post, and, honestly, she just sounds like she's blogging. I mean, okay, I guess there's nothing wrong with that, it's just that... You know. (somebody help me with my point? @_@)

Anyhow, I just find it really annoying. Now, some of you might say that if it's really annoying I should just leave it alone because I am giving it/her more attention and all, but you see, I kind of dream that this link/article/hatefest? XD (lol) would spread like wildfire through the internet, like, say, those annoying chain letters in emails that just. wouldn't. die. And then one day, on one of her trips, (she seems to fly around a lot) a bunch of OFWs will recognize her and bash her for the annoying conyotic try-hard fashionista that she is. Nyahahaha. *ahem*

Lol. Do I sound mean? I'm sorry, I just, yeah --- I dun like her. Lol.

Here's a part of the article that I read:

To save on my ticket, I bravely took an economy class seat on Emirates as recommended by my travel agent. Ron excitedly told me to go for it - Emirates had won best economy class and some award. However I forgot the hub was in Dubai and the majority of the OFWs (overseas Filipino workers) were stationed there. The duty-free shop was overrun with Filipino workers selling cellphones and perfume. Meanwhile, I wanted to slash my wrist at the thought of being trapped in a plane with all of them.

And here's the link to said article... sort of. [link]

Oh, and apparently, there are more published articles of her with somewhat uncalled for comments regarding her ever so horrible economy class flight with OFWs. Haa. Blech. x.x

And another thing. According to what I've read, People Asia actually received a good number of mails complaining about Malu Fernandez' article/s, but they're not doing anything about it. WTF is up with that? -_- I'd say let's boycott People Asia, but, yeeeah, how many people do I know who actually reads them on a regular basis? Or, at all. x_x

P.S.
She actually tried defending herself when she found out that People Asia received a lot of mails complaining about her article. She wrote another article in Manila Standard Today, and she claims that she's just being true to herself and that people who were pissed off/annoyed/offended has no/litte common sense. WTF much?
